Tiny Baby Cries Alone in the Heavy Rain While Mom Is Away
Dark clouds covered the forest as heavy rain suddenly began to fall. A tiny baby monkey named Coco sat alone beneath a large tree, shivering as raindrops soaked his soft fur. His mother, Libby, had gone into the forest earlier to search for food.
Coco looked around nervously, hoping to see his mother returning. Every loud clap of thunder made him tremble. He hugged his knees and began to cry, calling softly for Libby.
The rain grew stronger, turning the forest floor into little streams. Coco tried to hide under a leaf, but it could not protect him from the cold water.
Then, through the sound of the rain, Coco heard familiar footsteps. Libby appeared, carrying fruit in her arms. She dropped everything and rushed to her baby.
Coco wrapped his tiny arms around her, crying with relief. Libby hugged him tightly and carried him to a dry shelter. At last, the little monkey felt safe and warm again.
