Deep in the forest, Old Mama Pigtail had just given birth to a tiny baby monkey. The newborn was only one day old, weak and unable to cling tightly to the branches.
Suddenly, a loud movement shook the high tree. The baby slipped toward the edge, and Old Mama Pigtail immediately reached out and pulled her little one safely against her chest.
The strong wind continued blowing, and the branches swayed dangerously. Old Mama Pigtail could have moved away to a safer branch, but she refused to leave her newborn behind. She wrapped both arms around the baby and held on firmly.
The tiny monkey cried softly, pressing its face against its mother’s warm fur. Mama Pigtail gently groomed the baby, reassuring it that she was there.
After what felt like a long time, the wind finally calmed. Mother and baby remained together, safe in the tree.
It was a touching reminder of a mother’s powerful love and determination to protect her child.
