Petty Little Monkey Falls Deep from a Tall Tree

A little monkey named Miko loved showing off. Every day, he climbed the tallest tree in the forest and laughed at the other animals below. He called the rabbits slow, the birds noisy, and the squirrels weak. His friends warned him not to be so proud, but Miko ignored them.

One windy afternoon, Miko climbed even higher than usual to prove he was the bravest monkey. As he jumped from one thin branch to another, a strong gust of wind shook the tree. The branch snapped, and Miko fell deep through the leaves before landing safely in a pile of soft bushes.

Although he was only bruised, Miko felt embarrassed. The same animals he had mocked rushed over to help him. Their kindness made him realize that being petty and proud only pushed others away. From that day on, Miko treated everyone with respect, and he became a much happier monkey with many true friends.
